When The Castle doors open, the night begins with a promise of music… but not all melodies are meant to soothe the soul.

Deep within gothic halls and beneath flickering candlelight, a mysterious Maestro gathers an audience of masked nobility, performers, and strangers drawn by rumor and intrigue. Some say he is a genius. Others whisper he is a madman. What is known is this: he seeks a Muse worthy of his masterpiece, and he will stop at nothing to claim one.

Guests are invited to enter a world of dark fantasy and decadent spectacle where velvet masks conceal ambition, jealousy, and secrets that refuse to stay buried. Throughout the evening live performances, theatrical encounters, and unfolding scenes will draw you deeper into the Maestro’s shadowed domain. Conversations in quiet corridors may reveal hidden alliances, while a chance encounter on the dance floor could expose a deadly truth.

But beware… not everyone who enters the masquerade will leave unchanged.

As the night unfolds, tensions rise and whispers grow sharper. Rivalries simmer beneath polite smiles, forbidden fascinations ignite, and somewhere within The Castle walls a sinister plot begins to reveal itself. Guests will find themselves immersed in a living story where clues are scattered among the performers, and the fate of the evening may rest in the hands of those brave enough to follow the mystery.

As the music swells, Ensemble members who attended the Waltz Workshop are invited to lead the opening dance beneat, guiding the ballroom into the rest of the night.

  • This is a 21+ event. All guests must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID at check-in by the date of the ball.

  • Fantasy-inspired formal attire is required. Think: elegant gowns, regal cloaks, crowns, horns, or other magical accessories. Draw inspiration from your favorite fae courts, romantasy stories, or mythic realms. Guests are encouraged to dress as if they've stepped out of a magical tale. No casual or street attire.

  • Yes! This is a masquerade ball, however if for whatever reason you can’t or prefer not to wear a mask, that is ok as well.

  • Midnight Overture: The Maestro’s Masquerade will be held at The Castle, located at:

    This historic venue is a former church transformed into a grand castle-like space—perfect for an gothic evening.

  • All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another attendee with prior written approval.

  • Your safety is a top priority. Professional security personnel will be on-site throughout the event to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. We want to keep the magic safe and respectful for everyone.

  • Yes! There will be pass appetizers and a grazing table throughout the evening and a cash bar available. VIP will have Open Bar access for 3 hours.

  • Yes! There are ample hotels in the Beloit area. Some great ones near the venue are:

    Ironworks Hotel, Hotel Goodwin, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, & Best Western, and Fairfield. We will have a room block announcement soon.
